Markham, Ontario – The Asian Business and Trade Expo, organized by the Federation of Asian Canadians Toronto (FACT) is set to take center stage in 2025 promising to be a dynamic platform for business leaders, entrepreneurs, and innovators from across Asia, Canada and beyond. There are over 100 esteemed VIP guests and multicultural media representatives in attendance, including dignitaries such as Mr. Faruk Hossain, Consul General of Bangladesh, and Mr. Chhat Chhour, Honorary Consul of the Kingdom of Cambodia to Ontario, Mr. Sturmius Bate, Consul of Economic Affairs of Consulate General of Indonesia, and Ms. Weilun Ko, Assistant Director, Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Toronto, among others. FACT, as a registered non-profit organization, is deeply committed to celebrating, empowering, and promoting the diverse Asian Canadian community in the Greater Toronto Area. The president of FACT Ms. Benny Cheung announced the expansion of their initiatives by adding the Asian Business and Trade Expo to their roster of flagship events such as Asialicious Carnival and AsialiciousTO, in September. “This expo serves as a catalyst for business excellence and international cooperation,” said Ms Cheung, the President of FACT . “We are thrilled to bring together businesses, investors, and thought leaders from across Asia and beyond to exchange ideas, forge partnerships, and unlock new opportunities for growth. It will also serve as a hub for multicultural networking, collaboration, and innovation, fostering economic growth and opportunity for all involved.”

During the press conference, an inclusive and diverse panel of esteemed speakers, including Ms. Hyunjoo Chae, President of the Korean Canadian Business Association of Ontario, Ms. Mila Nabor Cuachon, CEO, executive chef and creative director of Casa Manila, representative of the Pinay Tayo and Batapreneur, and Mr. Ryan Lau, Vice President of Youth & Entertainment at the Malaysian Association of Canada, shared insights on how the Asian Business and Trade Expo would benefit the business communities of Korea, the Philippines, and Malaysia, both in Canada and their respective home countries.
